To be honest, the thought of going back to cooler weather, while lounging in the sun this summer, next to the pool with a good read and not a chore in sight sounded so surreal. To my great despair, autumn is setting in. Yesterday I did a clear out through my wardrobe, to sell some stuff on eBay, brought out the woolly jumpers and stored the much-loved summer dresses away. I love nothing more than a summer dress in linen, or voile cotton, that allows freedom of movement with a sense of Dolce Vita and lets you feel the sunshine on your shoulders. Winter is not that bad, I agree, I enjoy the snow, the crispy cold days, although hate cold and humid weather after a long winter what I long for is the hot and humid weather. How will we cope this winter without light linen and cotton dresses? Modern Bohemian style often associated with summer dresses, light cotton blouses and fabric, it isn't what I would like to wear in the cold winter month, though. All isn't lost; we can still wear beautiful freestyle blouses and tops under a warm winter coat with a nice pair of jeans, accessories will be key to adapt our style, with canvas tote bags, cuff bracelets and large stones rings which will define our personal touch. So my dear boho peeps, winter does not mean hiding under grey and bland, bring out the colours, the accessories and the cute tops, blouses, chiffon kaftans and natural fabric jumpers. How do you adapt Boho Chic during the cold seasons, I am looking forward to hearing about your ideas. PS.We do store some style for the cooler season have a look here
