Summer is coming, which means festival season is very nearly upon us! Summer is our favourite time of the year, so as always, we’re incredibly excited about the warm weather and, of course, the festivals to come. Aside from the music, your festival look is one of the most important parts of the season. So, we thought we’d put together a guide filled with our favourite fun, fair trade dresses that we stock here at Bohocity – complete with some suggestions on how you can rock them at this summer’s festivals.
Millie Maxi Dress
The Millie Maxi Dress is from Patchouli Fair, and it would make the perfect modest festival dress. We think it would look great paired with a floppy sun hat and simple flats. Made from 100% cotton, this dress will keep you covered and protected from the summer sun, without being too hot or restrictive.
Swing Camisole Halter Neck Dress
Fun, flirty, and totally boho, this swing cami halter neck dress from Gabrielle Parker is the ultimate festival dress for this summer season. It will look great as you dance the day away, and paired with some chunky boots it will give you true festival vibes. We know the British weather can be unpredictable, so this would also be a great dress to layer. You could wear a simple t-shirt underneath, or layer a chunky cardigan over the top if the temperature drops a little bit.
A Slate Shift Dress
From Toné made with recyclable material, this shift dress in shades of slate would be an adorable choice for a summer festival. It’s cute, and, above all, flattering. We think it would look great with a country twist – pair with a knitted jacket and awesome wooden sandals to nail the look.
Floral Print Gypsy Dress
Another gorgeous piece from Gabrielle Parker, this floral print gypsy dress is another great choice for festival days. It’s short and sweet without being too revealing, and the stretch elastic will give you full movement as you dance, jump up and down, and have a great time with friends. It can even be worn off the shoulder for that ultimate boho-chic festival look.
All of the pieces in our store are fair trade fashion. So, you’re not just getting a gorgeous dress but an ethical one, too.
