On 24 April 2013, 1,134 people were killed, and over 2,500 were injured when the Rana Plaza complex collapsed in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We believe that’s too many people to lose on one day. That’s when Fashion Revolution was born. This global movement is to support a fashion which is creative, values people, the environment, and profits in a balanced way. The aim is to show the world that change is possible and raising awareness about the true cost of fashion. This week we are celebrating fashion revolution week making the world a better place promoting ethical and fairtrade clothing as mainstream fashion. The movement is to encourage you to questions who made your clothes when you go shopping. At Boho City, I have chosen to work with brands which take "who is making your clothes" at heart, the dress you are buying from Boho City is more than just a summer dress, you are bringing change for a community of workers making a difference in their life in the best working conditions. There is some ways you can get involved you can join the movement using the hashtag #whomademademyclothes, follow Fashion Revolution question your label by posting images on social media, celebrate Fashion Revolution Day on April 24th.
